I recently had a customer ask for my advice on cleaning her refrigerator.
I started the pros and cons of different cleaners that are used to clean the interior can be described when they stopped me abruptly. "I know exactly everything about the stuff," she told me, "I mean the black coil, which on the back."
So, in response to this frequently asked question, I offer the following step-by-step instructions.
First, the 'black coil, which is at the back of the refrigerator as a capacitor.Without too much technical jargon, its job, heat in the kitchen is to scatter. This is done by the condensation of the refrigerant gas. Hence the name. The condenser tube is generally seen on the back of a refrigerator. It is in a serpentine form with additional fins across it produces additional heat dissipation.
"Heat, I thought we were talking about refrigerators, not stoves".
You must believe me when I say: 'refrigerator does not produce cold air. Rather, its task is the heat from the interior of the refrigerator, transfer housing to the outside. It removes the heat from the food and the results in your food cold.
So, who cares! You should. Since a large part in this transfer of heat, the 'black coil, which "we have talked about it. Yes, that's right, the capacitor.
Do not operate without the condenser our refrigerator. Therefore, we will learn how to perform basic maintenance to contribute to this part and keep ourRefrigerator in tip-top shape.
So let's start -------------------------
Tools Required:
· Hoover
· Brush or vacuum cleaner brush attachment
· Cotton rag
Light strength household cleaner ·
· Bag
1. Pull the refrigerator away from the wall and drag it.
2. The condenser is the radiator-looking part on the back of the refrigerator.
3. Use a brush or a vacuum cleaner to remove dust buildon the capacitor. Remember, the capacitor is made of thin tubing and filled consists of a pressure-(130 psig) of gas. So be gentle. If the hose a simple cleaning could be harmful to themselves expensive to repair.
4. If you have a pet, but hoping for a large collection of animal fur on the condenser to be seen. If excessive dust or fur is present, clean with a dry rag and dispose into the garbage bag. We recommend using the dry rag first method to avoid clogging up the vacuum hose.
5. Next, usethe vacuum cleaner until the end of the basic cleaning of the condenser. The brush attachment of the vacuum cleaner works particularly well at this point. The brush allows you to get in between all the fins and remove the dust, it is hidden.
6. Finish by cleaning the condenser with a rag moistened with water. Avoid clean. Since the capacitors work is the placement of heat from a clean any residue left impede this process. Under no circumstances use something like furniture polish(eg lemon furniture polish) or a Dust. It will leave a waxy residue that will attract more dust in the end. Something that worked very well, is a static duster (not) the polishing cloths. If you are not sure what I mean, it's the cleaning device that looks like the tail of a cat on a long handle attached. They are great because they take dust without the use of chemicals.
7. Use a vacuum to remove dust from the lid of the box it is near the lower rear part of theRefrigerator. It is the area where the compressor and electrical components. It will usually have holes in it where it can collect dust.
8. Vacuum dust from the floor and the cave where the refrigerator is normally located. Soak up the sides of the refrigerator. If there is a kick plate (floor grid) on the front of the refrigerator, vacuum it, too. Note: Do not remove or clean the kick plate. Some are very difficult to install again.
9. Plug in the refrigeratorand press return.
That's it ... That is all. The entire process should have taken about 15 minutes.
In a period of a few minutes to get to a set of goals. You have removed an important source of dust at home, out of the fridge more efficient and reduce your energy consumption.
Even if it is an easy task, it is one that is usually forgotten. So do not wait until the service man comes every few years to be done once tothis.
It is a very important project for the cleaning of the reasons described above. Stand why it is a job that is right next to the upper edge of the next spring-cleaning list should be.
